Crew Course
Admiral
Level C2.1 - C2.2
The Talkademy Learning Commitment
At Talkademy, progress comes from active participation. Our courses are built around interaction, practice and real communication — not passive listening. You will be expected to complete assignments, take part in role plays and actively use German from day one. Your commitment is the key to turning knowledge into confidence.
Your Time on the Bridge
On the Admiral level, true mastery is your final port of call. And only you and your fellow commanders can decide whether to sail close to the wind or whether you’d rather reach your destination with a gentle breeze in your sails.
No matter what speed you choose, however, at Talkademy all courses are designed to create steady progress through structured learning, regular practice and continuous interaction.
Choose the wind speed that best fits your and your fellow Admirals' goals:
Regular Course: 12 weeks of guided training, giving you enough time to build confidence, practise new skills and integrate German into your and your course-mates daily life.
The Regular Course consists of two 90 minute sessions per week (four 45-minute units) and 3-4 hours of homework /week.
Intensive Course: 8 weeks of focused learning for those who want to accelerate their progress and reach their goals faster.
The Intensive Course consists of three 90-minute sessions per week (six 45-minute units) and 4-6 hours of homework/week.
Whichever route you choose, however, your journey will combine live lessons, practical exercises and active communication, helping you move from understanding German to confidently using it.
Your Voyage Instruments
To make the most of your Talkademy journey, you will need a few essential tools and resources. Don’t worry — getting started is simple.
Our live sessions take place via Google Meet, allowing you to interact face-to-face, practise your German and stay connected with your crew.
Your Course Toolkit:
- A reliable internet connection for our live lessons via Google Meet
- A computer, laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone for active participation
- WhatsApp for quick communication, updates and course coordination, (a WhatsApp group will be set up at the start of the course)
- Google Classroom as your digital learning hub for materials, assignments and additional exercises, (crew members receive the link and course code at the start of the course)
- Your course books — carefully selected resources that support and complement your learning journey, (crew-members purchase their own copies).
But most importantly, bring your curiosity, commitment and willingness to actively participate. At Talkademy, you are not a passenger; you are an essential member of the crew.
Your Investment in the Enterprise
Our Crew Courses are designed as small, high-impact programmes.
The size of your crew directly shapes the learning dynamic as well as the extent of your investment.
Smaller crews allow for more speaking time, more direct feedback, and faster individual progress.
Larger crews create more interaction, perspective, and shared momentum.
To give you flexibility, the investment adjusts depending on the final group size.
- All crews have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 participants.
- All crews will enjoy a clearly structured programme with measurable progress.
- All crews will benefit from the same high standard — regardless of crew size.
The Admiral's Loot
After this course you'll be able to:
- Communicate with near-native fluency and precision.
- Master complex negotiations and high-level discussions.
- Understand virtually every form of spoken and written German.
- Adapt your language naturally to any audience or situation.
- Represent yourself professionally at the highest level.
As an Admiral, you now command your fleet flawlessly in German and, together with your crew, have reached the highest level of proficiency in the German language. But your journey doesn’t end there.
For instance, you might keep sailing in the Solo Scholar Course to hone your mastery of the finest nuances of the German language, or join one of our Rogue Missions to find out how Germans talk when they really call a spade a spade. So, weigh anchor - there is so much more to disover!
